To make your planning a little easier, we’ve gathered a few hotel recommendations that are all in or near the historic center of town. We aren't doing a formal room block, so feel free to choose the spot that’s best for you. There are plenty of additional options that we haven’t listed as well!

San Miguel is a city for walking, but be prepared for lots of charming (and sometimes steep!) cobblestone streets. No matter where you stay, we recommend packing comfortable shoes!
Rosewood San Miguel de Allende: The Rosewood is classic San Miguel elegance. It feels like a grand colonial estate, and its famous Luna Rooftop Bar has what we think are some of the best sunset views in the city. (10-12 minute walk to city center)
Live Aqua Urban Resort: If you love modern design and a vibrant, artistic vibe, this is the place. It's a chic and sensory experience, complete with a fantastic spa and pool scene. (12-15 minute walk to city center)
Amatte Wellnest Community: For a peaceful and restorative escape, Amatte is a beautiful wellness-focused hotel perched just above the city. It's serene, sophisticated, and has incredible panoramic views. (10-12 minute walk to city center)
Hotel Albor: A stylish hotel that mixes contemporary Mexican design with the reliability of the Marriott brand. The rooftop pool and bar are a major highlight and a great place to unwind. (10-minute walk to city center)
Hotel Clevia: A fresh and modern boutique hotel with clean design and a lovely rooftop pool that feels like a hidden gem. A great spot to relax after a day of exploring. Also a part of the Marriott collection. (15-minute walk to city center)
Hotel Casa Liza: If you're dreaming of a classic, romantic hacienda-style stay, you'll love Casa Liza. It’s wonderfully charming, with quiet courtyards and a truly authentic feel. (12-15 minute walk to city center)
Hotel Casa Primavera: This hotel feels like a small private resort, with lush gardens and a large, inviting pool making it a true oasis. It's a slightly longer walk but offers amazing value and space to relax. (20-25 minute walk, or a very short and easy taxi ride)

Paseo del Centro: You can't get much more central than this. As the name suggests, it’s a practical and comfortable home base, perfect if your main goal is to be out and about exploring. (5-7 minute walk to city center)
